The Management of GCBM took training on team building to foster better collaboration and communication among themselves. Team building helps to improve job satisfaction and motivation while reducing stress and misunderstandings. It also helps to create a culture of respect for diversity and helps workers understand how their individual contributions can contribute to achieving the company’s goals.

About event

The training was to ensure that clients comply with tax laws and give them an understanding of tax principles, regulations, and practical applications. The training focused on areas such as Tax Planning Strategies, Case Studies and Practical Exercises, and Updates on Current Tax Issues. The training was open to Accountants, Tax Practitioners, Business Owners/Entrepreneurs, and Accounting, Finance and Taxation Students at Middle or Senior Levels.

At the end of the training, participants were expected to understand tax risks associated with accounting and reporting practices, adopt effective tax techniques in financial planning and navigate current and potential controversies.

This event was organized to deliberate and brainstorm on the legal principles and accounting treatment of share capital among professionals (Accountants, Tax Consultants, Lawyers, Corporate Secretarial Practitioners and Auditors).

The meeting focused on two areas –

• The nature of shares and stated capital
• Administrative compliance and treatment of shares and capital.
